The year 2017 was a fabulous year for Varun Dhawan who reeled off two back- to- back box office hits — Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya and Judwaa 2. There were rumours that the actor’s fees has gone up by a mile but the actor refutes any such claims. Clarifying about his fee hike, he says, “A lot of false figures about my fees have been reported. When a film is very close to my heart, money doesn’t matter. I have just completed one such film called October.”

The actor goes on to add that the two successive hit films have only egged him on to give his best. “This has been my best year at the box office — Judwaa 2 and Badri have both done so well. My responsibility as an actor has increased manifold as to what kind of projects I should do. Madhuri Dixit has two things coming up on her work front. With her next film, she will make her return to the Indra Kumar fold. After working with the filmmaker in Dil, Beta and Raja in the early ’ 90s, Madhuri is reuniting with him after 23 years with Total Dhamaal. The film goes on the floors in 2018. It also marks the reunion with Anil Kapoor after Pukar in 2000. Madhuri confirms, “I am going to be working with Anil after 17- odd years. I am looking forward to it. The film will be an entertaining movie.”

The lady with the million- dollar smile believes that she will be laughing all the way to the bank with a sitcom on her life being produced by her and Priyanka Chopra soon. “That project is in the works and I am very excited about that too,” she gushes. We can’t wait either!

— Sanskriti Media I always keep children in mind when I take up films — even they need to be entertained when they watch my films.”
