REESE WITHERSPOON SUED OVER GONE GIRL

-

Nine months before his suicide, Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington apparently tried to take his life by getting drunk, tying up his hands and legs and throwing himself into a pool.

The LA County Coroner knew about this but decided to edit it out of the autopsy report on the request of the lawyer of Chester’s window, Talinda.

TMZ. com reports that Talinda had told the authorities about his attempt in November last year and said that he had a change of heart and somehow managed to break free and climb back up to safety. The 2012 film Gone Girl was an immediate hit and Reese Witherspoon, who produced the film got many accolades for it. But now, in a turn of events, Reese has received a lawsuit for the same film.

A lady named Leslie Weller claims that in 2005, she wrote a screenplay called Out of the Blue. She then sent it to a script consultant, which set the wheels in motion for her script to get stolen. She also says that the book Gone Girl, which came out in 2012 was a rip off of the book.

She says that there are many similarities, like they both focus on a married couple’s relationship where the husband and wife are drifting apart. They both contain a key twist where the wife is not the nice, normal, and somewhat naive housewife and is in fact a psychopath who sets up her husband. Even the structure, Weller says, is the same, drawing a few more p a r a l l e l s . Weller is also suing the book’s author, Gillian Flynn, along with the movie’s director, David Fincher.
