RANBIR’S OFF THE AWARDS!

As the awards season kicked off, there have been four functions and announcements so far. But if there is one star who has been skipping these events — apart from Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn and Kangana Ranaut — it is Ranbir Kapoor. It’s not that Ranbir is overtly busy, but then he has not been seen at any of these functions.

So, is he following Aamir’s footsteps by not attending these dos? It does seem so. The actor who often partook in award functions has decided not to attend these functions — at least for now. “None of his films are nominated for any awards in the forthcoming year. He is also trying to give his best to the Dutt biopic. And more importantly, he is not too keen to attend any awards function now because he wants to keep every detail of the biopic close to his chest,” says a source.

— Sanskriti Media Salman Khan is undeniably one of the busiest personalities of Bollywood. The actor, who just turned 52, is currently enjoying the success of T i g e r Zinda Hai. Alongside, he’s already started shooting for Race 3.

In fact, on his birthday, his upcoming project Bharat, to be released in Eid 2019, was announced too. However, there’s a not so good news for Bhai’s fans, who wish to see him as inspector Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg 3 soon. A source close to the development tells us that the movie has been postponed, and the wait to see Salman in the movie has become longer. “Since the actor has back- toback commitments, Dabangg 3 will only be shot after the other films,” the source says. “Also, the makers are still scripting the project, and will not begin shooting for it, unless they’re extremely sure about it. Considering it’s a very successful franchise, these are precautionary measures.” Meanwhile, Bharat, which was announced this week, will be co- produced by Bhushan Kumar and Salman’s brotherinlaw Atul Agnihotri. And with this new movie taking up the 2019 Id slot, we wonder if Dabangg 3 will see the light of day only in 2020.
