Woman slips into coma; key accused, 2 aides arrested

In a shocking incident, a man allegedly shot at his sister and killed her brother- in- law as she had married against her family’s wishes. Following this, the accused and his two accomplice­s were arrested, the police said on Sunday.

The woman has been admitted to a hospital and is in coma and, said the police. The accused, Karan, and his two accomplice­s, Rajesh and Amit, were arrested from Rajeev Chowk in Sohna on Friday night, Gurgaon police PRO Ravinder Kumar said.

“On November 4 last year, the complainan­t had told the police that his brother was kidnapped and a case was filed in this regard. The case was taken up by the crime branch,” he said. A gang who cheated a number of gullible persons on the pretext of providing them with jobs in government department­s was busted by the Dwarka district police. The gang pocketed ` 40 lakh of jobless youths.

On January 31, Depesh Kumar one complained

“During investigat­ion, it was found that Karan’s sister had married the complainan­t against her family’s wishes and so were in hiding,” said the police officer.

“Since the complainan­t’s younger brother knew where they were staying, Karan and his two accomplice­s kidnapped him and found out to the police and said his uncle came in contact with a conman, Rashid Khan. Khan told his uncle that he has good contacts in various government department­s and can get a job easily. He promised to find a job for the complainan­t in post office in lieu of ` 5 lakh.

Finding his offers of job fake, the complainan­t approached the police.
