OPPO A71s plans face unlock debut in India

OPPO had originally launched its budget smartphone — A71 earlier in September. A fresh report has surfaced on the web suggesting that the company might soon launch the phone in India as A71s. The A71s will apparently have the same specificat­ions but the phone might launch with a different label in India, as per Phone Radar. While there is no informatio­n available regarding the launch date, the report further states that the handset will come with a price tag of ` 9,990 in India.

As for the rumoured specificat­ions, the OPPO A71s will sport a 5.2- inch HD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset and eight Cortex- A53 octa- core CPU clocked up to 1.8GHz. The older version of OPPO A71 was powered by a MediaTek MT675 chipset with 3GB RAM/ 16GB storage. The refreshed version comes with 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage which is expandable up to 256GB. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat- based OPPO’s ColorOS 3.2.

The handset boasts a 13MP rear camera with an f/ 2.2 aperture and 5MP front shooter along with an f/ 2.4 aperture. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery. The A71s might also have AI Beauty Recognitio­n Technology, allowing users to seize enhanced photos using a global image database to offer the most suitable beautify effect.

Besides, the company has also teased the launch of OPPO F5 Sidharth Limited Edition smartphone and speculated to launch tomorrow.
