Beckham, Ferdinand pay tributes to Miller

Tributes have flooded in from across the world of football after the tragic death of former Manchester United and Celtic midfielder Liam Miller.

Miller died aged 36 on Friday after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer following treatment in the United States and at home in Cork, Ireland, reports the Daily Mail. The father- of- three passed away just four days short of his 37th birthday.

Beckham tweeted: “Our thoughts are with Liam’s family .. Rest In Peace”.

Ferdinand wrote: “Waking up to the news that my old @ ManUtd teammate Liam Miller has passed away. Such tragic news... my thoughts go out to his family!”

Celtic, his first club, wrote on Twitter: “Everyone at # CelticFC is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former midfielder Liam Miller. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and

friends at this time. RIP Liam, YNWA”.
