Gen. Rawat meets Nepal Army Chief

Kathmandu, Feb. 13: Indian Army Chief Gen. Bipin Rawat on Tuesday met his Nepalese counterpart Gen. Rajendra Chhetri at the Army headquarters and discussed issues of bilateral and mutual interests.

Gen. Rawat, who is on a three- day visit to the Himalayan nation, also attended Nepal Army Day celebrations here.

The two discussed the issues of bilateral and mutual interests, according to Nepalese Army headquarters. He arrived here on Monday on the invitation of his Nepalese counterpart to attend the Army Day Parade, which coincides with the 250th anniversary of the Himalayan nation’s unification.
