Chitrangad­a Singh stunned everyone with her outstandin­g performanc­e with her debut Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. The film, which had a strong, gripping story line, won hearts of critics and audience alike. Now we hear the film may have a sequel to it.

“Sudhir Mishra is keen on making a sequel to film Hazaaron... He has already started scripting and will soon start working on this project soon,” a source said.

According to a source close to the developmen­t It has been rumoured for a while that Sidharth Malhotra will be reprising the role that Rakshit Shetty played in the 2016 K a n n a d a dramedy film Kirik Party. It looks like there will be a Bollywood remake for this film too.

The rights of the one hero- two heroine film has been bought by producer Ajay Kapoor. Sidharth was being considered for the lead role. But it seems there is a negotiatio­n going on about the price and Sidharth’s response says it all. “All I can say is that I have seen the film and it is a lovely, fun college film. The rest we will of the film, Chitrangad­a won’t be a part of the sequel.

2013. find out in due course,” says the actor, whose box office earnings of his last few films haven’t been so encouragin­g.

The film has also been remade in Telugu with Nikhil Sidharth as Kirrak Party and will be release next month.
