Cops crack blind murder case, 3 criminals arrested

The sleuths of Delhi police South- East District has solved the Jaitpur blind murder case with the arrest of three accused. The pistol used for firing upon the victims and the car used to flee from the spot has also been seized.

The arrested accused were identified as, Shehnawaj ( 21) resident of Jaitpur, Ankur Dubey alias Max ( 22) resident of West Karawal Nagar and Md. Yasir alias Baloo ( 19) resident of Bulandshah­r, UP, for firing upon fatherson duo who tried to resist the accused persons while they were attempting to steal a stereo from a car. Due to the firing, the son died on the spot and the father is still under observatio­n at hospital.

According to the police, on February 24 at 4.20AM, a PCR Call regarding an accident was received. The police staff immediatel­y rushed to the spot and found that the injured victims had already been taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.

The police staff then inspected the crime scene. Meanwhile, informatio­n about an injured person was received from Trauma Centre AIIMS Hospital. The police team reached the hospital and found that injured Vishal ( 25), son of Mohan ( 46), resident of Jaitpur had been declared brought dead and his father was under treatment.

The brother of the deceased, Rohit, narrated the whole incident and said that at about 4 am, he was using his mobile phone when he heard some noise outside his house and saw that two unknown persons peeping inside a car parked in the neighbouri­ng plot. He woke up his father Madan Mohan and brother Vishal who rushed towards those persons and tried to apprehend them. Seeing the father and son approachin­g towards them, the accused tried to flee from the spot. They sat in a car which was already parked nearby and one of their associates was sitting on the driver’s seat. Mr Madan and his son Mr Vishal resisted the accused persons and even tried pull out the key of the car. The accused, in a haste, moved the car forward and mowed down both the father and his son and fled from the spot.

During the course of investigat­ion, a postmortem of the deceased Vishal was conducted where it was revealed that he was shot by assailants as a bullet was recovered from his body.
