Aspiring singer stabbed to death

In a shocking incident, a 23- year- old aspiring singer was stabbed to death in Ambedkar Nagar area in Delhi. The deceased was identified as Danish Saifi, who was missing since Saturday evening. His body was recovered from a nearby park on Monday morning.

Danish lived with his parents and sister in Sangam Vihar area. As told by the family of the deceased, he had stepped out of the house on Saturday morning, but did not return. At this, his family and friends started searching for him in the locality but failed.

“It was on Monday, around 10 am, that the body of a youth was found lying at a park near Danish’s house behind Batra Hospital. The body had multiple stab injuries and was wrapped in blood- soaked cloths. His parents were called for identifica­tion and it was ascertaine­d that the body was Danish’s. The dead body was shifted to AIIMS hospital and later to AIIMS mortuary for post mortem on Monday. A case of murder has been registered,” said a senior police official.

Reports also claimed that some part of the dead body had been eaten by stray animals roaming in the park.
