De Gea offers his boots to fan

-

David de Gea is already a huge fans’ favourite at Old Trafford and will only get more plaudits after he offered a pair of his match boots to a sevenyearold supporter who dressed up as the goalkeeper, according to the Daily Mail. Rylan Heaney regularly likes to mimic his favourite United players and his mother Fran showed off her son’s similarities to the stars on Twitter.

De Gea spotted the photo of Heaney following the 2- 1 home win over Liverpool on Saturday and got in touch to complete the look with a pair of his boots.

Heaney does not do the lookalikes by half — as well as posing for a photo in the full kit, the young supporter also looked to copy de Gea’s beard and hairstyle.

For World Book Day earlier this month, the United fan opted to replicate the look of Swede striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

De Gea has been in imperious form for United this season and has gone on to be seen by many leading figures in the game as the world’s best goalkeeper.
