OUTGOING MP RAJANI HAS A BITTER- SWEET DAY

The Congress has nominated a noted journalist Kumar Ketkar from Maharashtra instead of Rajani Patel. On Tuesday, Mrs Patel was sitting in the Central Hall, discussing her future plan. Suddenly she got a call from Sonia Gandhi’s office. As she rushed to the Congress parliamentary office, she saw Mrs Gandhi inside her car, about to leave. After a while, Mrs Gandhi assured her of an assignment.

Meanwhile, Mrs Patel realised she had left her bag and purse inside the Central Hall. Somehow she went to the AICC office, got a car from there and reached Parliament. One of her colleagues Kumari Selja was waiting for her with her bag. Mrs Patel then immediately called Mr Ketkar to congratulate him on the nomination.
