DELHI BJP BLAMES CM FOR WATER SHORTAGE

-

Blaming chief minister Arvind Kejriwal for water shortage in several parts of the capital, Delhi BJP general secretary Rajesh Bhatia on Friday has said that this is the result of unplanned working of the Delhi government. Mr Bhatia expressed concern over cuts in water supply in Rajender Nagar, Patel Nagar, Moti Nagar and Delhi Cantt. Assembly areas. “For the first time, Delhi is witnessing a major water supply cut even before the onset of summer. Delhi Jal Board has no serious summer plan and to meet the supply shortage, no additional water tankers have been arranged, resulting in Delhi witnessing repeated cuts in water supply in several colonies,” said Mr Bhatia. He also said that the worst sufferers are villages such as Naraina, Todapur, Shadipur, Khampur and Jhuggi and resettlement colonies such as Gas Godam, Prem Nagar, Jogi Basti, Gayatri Colony and Gulshan Chowk. Planned colonies like Rajender Nagar, Patel Nagar, Kirti Nagar, Naraina. Smaller colonies such as Inderpuri and Moti Nagar are getting hardly half hour water supply in a day.
