Dell unveils next- gen PCs, displays
Dell has announced a new family of Inspiron All- inOnes, an updated XPS 15, an Inspiron 15 7000 2- in- 1 Special Edition, six S Series displays, and the availability of and new colour for the XPS 15 2- in1. The new assortment of systems are powered by Windows 10 and are packed with Intel’s latest 8th- Gen Core processors.
The XPS 15 flagship model is now powered by the 8th- Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics. The XPS laptop also includes a 4K Ultra HD InfinityEdge touch display with 100 per cent Adobe RGB colours. Weighing around 2kgs, the company claims that it is one of the lightest laptops they have made. Added value standard extras include Windows Hello log- in with an optional fingerprint reader integrated into the power button.
The connectivity options include Thunderbolt 3 with four lanes of PCI Express and HDMI 2.0. The Inspiron All- in- Ones ( AIOs) feature Dell Cinema and Dell Mobile Connect software to enable wireless integration between your PC and smartphone. The Inspiron 22 and 24 3000 AIOs feature up to 7th- Gen Intel Core processors, 16GB of storage, DDR4 memory and optional NVIDIA GeForce MX110 discrete graphics. It comes with a 21.5- inch or 23.8- inch full HD IPS edge- toedge display and builtin stereo speakers.
The Inspiron 24 5000 AIO includes up to Intel 8th- Gen Core processors, optional NVIDIA GTX 1050 graphics, Intel Optane Memory, a 23.8- inch FHD IPS display and up to 32GB DDR4 memory. The Inspiron 27 7000 AIO is powered by Intel 8th Gen Core processors, NVIDIA GTX 1050 GPU, a 27- inch 4K display. This machine provides support for video streaming and a Windows Mixed Reality Ultra. The Inspiron 15 7000 2- in- 1 includes Intel Core i7 processors, 4K UHD touch screen, higher capacity SSDs, 16GB of DDR4 memory, NVIDIA MX130 discrete graphics and Dell Active Pen. Dell’s S Family displays come in 23-, 24and 27- inch variations with an edge- to- edge display. The Dell XPS 15 2in- 1 retails for $ 1,299.99 while the Inspiron 22 and 24 3000 AIOs are available with a price tag of $ 399.99. Inspiron 27 7000 AIOs will be priced at $ 849.99
