Yogeshwar, Malikayya upset BSY calculations

Former Chief Minister and the BJP’s CM candidate B. S. Yeddyurappa had predicted that his party would get more than 125 seats but to his misfortune, 13 sitting MLAs of BJP were defeated upsetting his calculations.

The sitting MLAs who lost include C. P. Yogeshwar from Chennapatna and Malikayya Guttedar from Afzalpur.

Both had defected from the Congress and joined the BJP.
