In a shocking incident, a doctor has filed a complaint with the police that someone had recorded her video while she was taking a shower at a Delhi hotel.

The complainant, who is in her early 20s and is a doctor by profession has alleged that on May 6, she checked into a hotel at Mahipalpur, Delhi along with her male friend.

In the afternoon, while she was taking a shower, she had a shocking experience. "At around 12: 30 pm, I went inside the washroom to take a shower. I heard some noise, which sounded like someone was knocking the door. I felt something was wrong. After a few minutes, I looked at the exhaust window of the washroom on my right side and saw a black thing, which looked like a camera or a mobile phone. I got nervous and asked my friend to come and check, he saw someone's hand holding a black phone," alleged the complainant in the FIR.

"To check out, we also enquired from a couple who had checked into the adjacent room. The exhaust window of that room was connected to my room. When we asked for the man’s phone, he started acting as if he was not aware of anything. When my friend checked his phone, he could find nothing," she added.

Later, police was called and an first information report ( FIR) under section 354 ( a), outrage of modesty, was lodged against the unknown person.

The girl suspected that the person, who was in the adjacent room, may have recorded the video and later deleted it.
