SAMSUNG LAUNCHES NEW J, A SERIES WITH INFINITY DISPLAY, DUAL CAMERAS

Samsung has launched four new smartphones in the midrange segment with its proprietary Infinity Display. These four smartphones come under A and J series, with two smartphones each — Galaxy J6/ J8 and A6/ A6+. All the four devices come equipped with Samsung’s proprietary Super AMOLED display technology.

The metal unibodied Galaxy A6+ has a 6- inch FHD+ display, while Galaxy A6 sports a 5.6inch HD+ display. The J8 has a 6- inch HD+ display, while the J6 comes with a 5.6- inch HD+ display. They feature Chat- over-Video that allows chats through a transparent chat window and keyboard while a video is still running.

The A6+ and J8 come with dual rear cameras — 16MP + 5MP, along with Live Focus. The A6 has a 16MP rear camera with f/ 1.7 aperture while J6 sports a 13MP rear shooter with f/ 1.9 aperture. The A6+ has a 24MP front shooter, while both A6 and J8 sport a 16MP front camera. The J6 sports an 8MP front shooter.

The A6 and J6 come equipped with Exynos 7 chipsets whereas the A6+ and J8 are powered by a Snapdragon 450 chipset. All smartphones come in 4GB/ 64GB RAM/ ROM variants. They run on Samsung Expereince UI atop Android 8.1 Oreo. The A6+ and J8 are powered by a 3500mAh battery, while A6 and J6 come with 3000mAh battery. The A6+, A6 ( 4GB/ 64GB) and A6 ( 4GB/ 32GB) are priced at ` 25,990, ` 22,990 and ` 21,990 respectively. The J8, J6 ( 4GB/ 64GB) and J6 ( 3GB/ 32GB) are priced at ` 18,990, ` 16,490 and ` 13,990 respectively.
