AKSHAY- JOHN FALL- OUT?

- AGE CORRESPONDENT

The legal battle between actor John Abraham and KriArj entertainment’s Prernaa Arora over the actor’s latest release Parmanu is no secret. While Prernaa maintained that she did not do anything wrong, John in recent press events while promoting his political drama has been heard saying that he got no support from anyone from the film fraternity.

It turns out that John has been referring to one colleague and friend in particular. And that is his Garam Masala co- star Akshay Kumar, who refused to listen to John’s grievances against Prernaa.

“When John was looking for support in his battle with Prernaa he immediately thought of Akshay who had collaborated with Prernaa over three films ( Rustom, Toilet Ek Prem Katha and Padman). John’s association with Akshay goes back to almost a decade and he thought he would get complete support from Akshay,” says a source in the know.

The Rustom actor even refused to take John’s calls. “Akshay had no complaints at all about his association with Prernaa. He saw no reason to join John’s fight against her. Even otherwise,

Akshay likes to keep away from spats and controversies as much as pos sible,” adds the source.

Apparently, John sees Akshay’s refusal to join his fight as a betrayal of trust. Not that Akshay is seen agonizgruntlement. ing over John’s disgruntlement.
