With the first half of the year almost over, our attention is now focused on to what smartphone manufacturers will unveil in the coming months. There have been a little rumbling regarding Samsung’s next flagship device, the Galaxy Note 9, and as per a leak on Twitter, one should not get too excited about the design of the upcoming handset as it is rumoured to have similar design elements as its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 8. It is widely believed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be larger than its predecessor, come with a bigger storage option and will be upgraded to have a second camera.

The Twitter user @ UniverseIce has a track record of leaking significant details prior to announcements had previously revealed real- world images of the Galaxy S8 among others. This time he claims to have exposed the real Galaxy Note 9 design. From the images, we can see that it looks pretty identical to the Note 8 and Samsung have used this design cue to save on some manufacturing costs. This comes on the back of Samsung using similar design elements with the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9.

At the moment, very little is known but people familiar with the matter claim that when Samsung unveils the Galaxy Note 9, the South Korean tech giants will highlight an upgraded camera. There may be no cosmetic changes to the design, and in all likelihood, the Galaxy Note 9 will look similarto the Note 8. The next generation Note will “feature an upgraded Qualcomm processor for certain markets.

The Galaxy Note 9 is believed to have two variants, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor for some markets, and an Exynos 9810 for others. The next Galaxy Note is expected to come with 8GB RAM and a massive 512GB of internal storage.
