MORATA SHARES SNAP with pregnant wife

On the field, things are not going smoothly for Alvaro Morata — he was left out of Spain’s 2018 World Cup squad after an underwhelming first season at Chelsea.

Off it, however, things look to be idyllic, as Morata shared a happy holiday photo with his heavily pregnant wife Alice Campello, reports the Daily Mail.

The picture, shared on Morata’s Instagram account, shows the striker in a swimming pool with his wife, his hand tenderly on her belly. Campello is expecting twins, and looks as if she is due to give birth very soon.

Morata captioned the picture: “I wish everyone to find a love like ours! I cannot wait to meet our children.”

The image is also captioned with the hashtags ‘ Alessandro’ and ‘ Leonardo’, indicating the names of his two future sons have already been decided.

The snap is one of several loved- up photos of the couple posted by Morata and Campello in recent days.

What remains undecided, however, is the team Morata will be playing for next season, with his future uncertain after a disappointing year at Chelsea.

Morata’s season with the Blues plateaued towards the latter stages of the campaign after making a quick start to life in English football, and he has been linked with a move away.

AC Milan are among those interested in offering Morata a route out of Stamford Bridge this summer.
