Lok Sabha members and MLAs of BJP in the capital will proceed to chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence on Wednesday to raise water and electricity crisis in the city.

Addressing a press conference, Mr BJP city chief Manoj Tiwari announced that a delegation of Delhi’s elected representatives and party office bearers will go to the chief minister’s residence for a discussion on the ongoing water- power crisis in Delhi. “We will sit there till the chief minister comes out for a discussion,” Mr Tiwari said.

Mr Kejriwal, deputy CM Manish Sisodia, labour minister Gopal Rai and health minister Satyendar Jain met L- G Anil Baijal at 5.30 pm on Tuesday and since then, they stayed put there. Referring to it, Mr Tiwari said that a new film has released on Tuesday and it has been scripted by Mr Kejriwal himself to divert public attention from the failures of his three- and-a-half- year- old government.

“The Kejriwal government has failed the people of Delhi on issues such as water, power, hospitals, education, regularisation of unauthorised colonies free Wi- Fi and CCTVs and if at all it has performed well, it is in corruption in PWD, in health department and mohalla clinics, and harassment of women,” he added.

Mr Tiwari claimed Mr Kejriwal is manipulating the circumstances to increase confrontation with the L-G and government officials. The ongoing drama at L-G House is a repeat of a similar drama in January 2014 at Rajpath.
