POWERFUL LAPTOPS WITH STYLUS FOR STUDENTS

HP has announced new HP Pavilion x360 with a pen stylus for students, creative profession­als and millennial­s. Ahead of the new college season, the company has also introduced offers worth over ` 34,000 for customers.

The x360 comes with a micro- edge 14- inch FHD touch- enabled display. It is powered by the latest Intel 8th- gen Core i7 processor clocked at 1.8GHz. Its Intel Optane m e m o r y promises to i m p r o v e overall system performanc­e by

28 per cent.

The laptop is equipped with Intel’s latest discrete UHD 620 GPU ( other options include a 4GB NVIDIA GeForce MX130 Graphics).

Weighing 1.68kg, the laptop claims to be lighter than its predecesso­r and boasts of dual storage for faster speed. It features 12GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. The notebook comes with a 5MP HP’s TrueVision full HD frontfacin­g camera with 120degree wide viewing lens. It claims to have 3D geometric facets of the speaker grill to provide better engineered audio output. For added security, the notebook comes with a fingerprin­t reader authentica­tion. With a 3- cell, 41Whr Li- ion prismatic battery, the laptop promises to provide a backup of up to 11 hours, it is also supported by HP Fast Charge technology.

On the I/ O front, it sports one HDMI, a 3.5mm headphone jack, one USB Type- C and two USB 3.1 ports. As for the connectivi­ty, the laptop supports Intel 802.11a/ b/ g/ n/ ac ( 2x2) Wi- Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. And, lastly, the Pavilion x360 runs on Windows 10 Home and features MS Office Home and Student, 2016.

The HP Pavilion 14inch x360 notebook starts at ` 50,347. HP also offers special deals with its Back to Campus offer.
