DU releases 3rd cut- off list for new admissions

The Delhi University issued its third cut- off list to various undergraduate courses, with many prominent colleges not releasing any cut- offs for some courses.

The list was issued on Friday and the admission process as per the list started from Saturday and will go on till July 7. A dozen colleges have closed admissions for BCom ( Hons) after the first two cut- off lists. Some of these colleges are Bharti College, Lady Shri Ram College, Kirorimal College, Maitreyi College, and Daulat Ram.

As many as 26,291 of 56,000 seats were filled in the second list, and many prominent colleges had closed admissions. Over 33,000 admissions have taken place to over 56,000 seats in the varsity since the first cut- off list on June 19.

The university has, for now, announced a total of three cut- off lists.

admissions, following which colleges like Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Lady Shri Ram College ( LSRC) reopened admissions.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College reopened admissions to BCom Programme, BSc ( Hons) Mathematics and BA ( Hons) History for general category students. Jesus and Mary College ( JMC) is open for BCom ( Hons) at 96.25 per cent - a marginal dip of 0.25 per cent from the second list.

LSRC maintained its cutoff for English ( Hons) 97.25 per cent, the same as the previous list. It also reopened admissions to Economics at 97.50 per cent. Gargi College also reopened admissions to its Honours courses.
