UP Muslim bizman to donate land, cash for 51 temples

A Muslim businessma­n in Lucknow has announced that he would donate land and money needed for constructi­on of 51 temples at different locations in UP and Bihar.

The businessma­n is Rashid Naseem, director of Shine group of companies, and he said that his announceme­nt is aimed at preserving secular beliefs in society and preserving communal harmony.

“Being a Muslim does not stop me from working towards betterment of other religions. I think this is a step towards communal harmony and an attempt to convey the message of brotherhoo­d and peace to the society. It is simply an example of the Ganga- Jamuni’ culture of the region”, he told reporters.

on the Allahabad-Varanasi highway and will be inaugurate­d in the Hindu month of “Saawan”.

“We plan to complete the constructi­on of 21 temples by the end of this year. And will complete our target of 51 temples by the end of 2019”, he said.

The realtor who considers PM Narendra Modi as his inspiratio­n, claims that he travels approximat­ely 50,000 km every month to check on his different business ventures.

Rashid Naseem belongs to Allahabad and launched his business in 2013. He has now ventured into travel and tourism and water purifiers.
