2 cops to check Nirana migration

-

Lucknow: Two police officials have been transferred after being found guilty of dereliction of duty that forced eight families to think of migration from Nirana in Shamli district. Members of one community had alleged harassment by members of another community and the police chose to remain a mute spectator after which the affected families put their houses on sale and decided to migrate. District magistrate Rajiv Kumar Sharma told reporters that SHO ( Sikheda) Vikram Singh and sub- inspector Mahesh Kumar have been shifted in connection with the case. He said four persons — Shehzad, Tehsin, Gaffar and Rihan — have also been arrested.
