Hoopers bag 3BL crown

Delhi Hoopers defeated Ahmedabad Wingers 21- 17 in Kolkata on Tuesday to win the third round of the 3x3 Pro Basketball League.

The Hoopers earlier won the first and second rounds of tournament, to emerge as overall champions of the league.

Delhi Hoopers will now represent India at the Fiba 3x3 World Tour Masters in Utsunomiya in Japan. The 3x3 World Tour Masters will be held from July 28 to 29 and will feature 11 teams from around the world.

The Hoopers will be the first Indian team to feature at an international 3x3 basketball competition.

The winners of the world tour leg in Japan will qualify for the world tour finals in Beijing.
