1More’s recently launched iBFree Sport wireless earphones hold an IPX6 rating, which is a significant upgrade from its previous offering. These come with a neck band style design and it’s great for those who prefer the security of a cable around their neck. 1More has designed it well by adding a concentric circular design on the rear, and with a metal chamber, they also look classy and are highly durable too.

The in- line controls have an interesting design — most headsets, combine a button ( Play/ Pause and the Power/ Pairing) for power, but here is a dedicated discrete button for power.

The USP of the iBFree is IPX6 certification — this allows a user to use the product even during heavy rains. During our test, Mumbai was busy with a stormy weather and the earphones were used pretty often, even when being drenched. They held up really well and even after being soaking wet, the earphones simply kept going. The iBFree comes with a soundstage that is well balanced. For those who are looking for a wireless headset that delivers substantial bass delivery, this is the model for you — the bass is highly noticeable, especially in genres such as Hip Hop and Rock. On the upperend, the earphones produce a lot of precision and highs were well represented. Elaborating on the highs, the audio reproduced is pretty great for in- ear earphones.

The battery life are rated at 8 hours on a single 2- hour charge. The standby time here is a long 90 days, but we recommend topping it up so it doesn’t fail on you. They also support quick charge ( QC), allowing you to get an hour of run time with just 15 minutes of charge.

The 1More iBFree is priced at ` 2,999 and we feel that, at this price, it is one of the best earphones on the market till date. With a great audio performance and a decent form factor, this baby is something that you should definitely consider if you are looking for great pair of wireless earphones at a very affordable price.
