The incident took place around three years ago in Indiranagar. Soon, after she narrated on Wednesday night about her ordeal regarding her Tinder date, many women from Bengaluru have come out in open on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and also shared their experiences.

In her video the woman ( name withheld) said the incident took place when she was studying in the university and living in the city.

“I had a profile on Tinder. While browsing I came across the profile of the man with a cute dog ( a Labrador) and we decided to meet. During our chats, I learnt that how sensitive the man was towards dogs. We met in a pub in Indiranagar from where he offered me to take to his house which was nearby, as I was drunk. The man then took me to his house and pounced at me. He forced himself on me and when the dog jumped on the bed, he kicked him badly,” she said in a video.

She further revealed that “When I tried to get out of the room, he bolted the door and sexually assaulted me. I was too drunk to defend myself.”

The woman also said that she doesn’t want to portray herself as a victim, but wanted people to be careful and stay safe while on a Tinder date.

On Thursday morning, her video on Instagram went viral and was viewed by scores of netizens.

A woman, under condition of anonymity, told this newspaper that the man in question had used his dog as a bait to lure girls. He had also misbehaved and manhandled his ex- girlfriend.

A large section of people are now contemplating to gather more evidence against the man and file a case against him.
