MPs UPSET WITH ANNOUNCEME­NT FOR ACCEPTING MAMATA AS PM CANDIDATE

Today, most of national dailies quoting a highly placed sources that Congress president is not averse to accept either West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee or BSP Leader Mayawati as Prime ministeria­l candidate for 2019 Lok Sabha poll. Arch rival in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi MPs were quite silent about this. But Congress MP from West Bengal including state PCC President Adhir Chowdhury was quite critical about this informal announceme­nt. He has openly saying against both the chief minister and so called announceme­nt from an informal source. Interestin­gly, TMC party was quite reluctant to comment on this. One of their senior leader reacted that they would not like to comment on a Chinese whisper.

POSTER OF LS TV SHOW PUT IN STRATEGIC LOCATION OF LOK SABHA CORRIDOR

Perhaps for the first time Lok Sabha TV has put number of huge posters inside the Parliament house complex for an upcoming television serial produced by the Lok Sabha TV channel. The name of the serial is "Surajya Sanhita" will be telecast from 15th August of this year. Many members of Parliament were curious about the serial, which will depict a history of evolution of Indian democracy from medieval period. After seeing this now Rajya Sabha TV unit also planned to showcase one of their popular serial in then corridors of Lok Sabha. But Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Venkaiah Naidu has not given green signal so far.

POLITICAL PARTY LEADERS USE PARLIAMENT HOUSE FOR ALLIANCE TALKS

These days many political leaders ogf different parties are seen in the Parliament house complex to discuss about possible alliance for incoming Lok Sabha poll. Even top leaders of the ruling BJP are found to spead the messages electoral strategy for a certain win in the next Lok Sabha poll. Among them BJP Party president Amit shah is most sought after leader for the journalist­s. On the other hand many former MPs of different political parties who were known for backroom negotiatio­ns for seat sharing has also started coming. In the lobby or central hall Congress top leaders are talking to possible alliance partner and almost finagling the seat sharing deal. Whether its Sharad Pawar of NCP, Prem Gupta as emissary of Lalu Prasad , or Ramgopal Yadav of SP and Satish Mishra of BSP. Former chief ministers are available for their wise counsel. Even possible fence sitters are seen to have parleys with some of the top leaders of the two national parties.
