BIG B REMEMBERS MOTHER, UPLOADS SOME RARE PHOTOS

Amitabh Bachchan uploaded some rare photos on Twitter with mother Teji Bachchan on her b’day on August 12, writes a heartfelt note. Read some extracts from the blog.

On mother’s birth anniversary on August 12, Amitabh Bachchan penned an emotional blog where he spoke about how his mother inspired him and introduced him to theatre, music and films. Also how she treated him like a child when he was already a grandfather. He also took to twitter and shared some rare photos and wrote “To the most beautiful Mother in the World.” his note also suggests how he misses his mother and counts her memories above everything.

He wrote on his blog, “Its Mother’s birth Anniversary ..August 12.. when you failed she consoled and gave hope.. when you succeeded she wept.. till her last days she insisted on knowing whether I had eaten.. and when going out, to advise, not to be late.. I had grandchildren by then.. but that is Mother!!” she introduced me to theatre, films and music.. and to ballroom dancing..” “..laughter and song and happiness surrounded her ever .. but touch her cubs and the lioness in her would tear into you.”

she was a giver ..all her belonging she would part with.. to friends, to staff, to anyone she was fond of..

I have just her memories with me .. nothing material .. but for me that is more than any else ..”
