CONSULT A SEXOLOGIST
QI am a 30- year- old married man and even though my wife and I have been married for a year, we have don’t have sex more than once a day as I can’t get an erection. Before marriage, I was able to masturbate three times a day. In addition, I climax early and my wife is dissatisfied with our sex life. Also, how long it takes South Indian men to reach climax after penetration?
There are no ISI ( Indian Standards Institute) standards for intercourse duration for Indians be they South or North Indians. If you are able to have sex at least once a day then you are lucky. For many men performing twice in a week itself is a great feat. Your problem is Premature Ejaculation. This can be caused by physical causes or psychological causes or a combination of both. The management depends on the cause( s). Consult a sexologist in person.
Q I'm a 64- year- old man. My wife, who is 55, is passing through her menopausal period. And, she is not showing much interest in sex. Nowadays, I’m also not so interested in sex. Am I also experiencing the socalled male menopause? Please advise.
Yes, you may be experiencing andropause ( akin to menopause in women) since you are 64. Similarly your wife may be experiencing menopause. Sexual desire/ interest is not just dependent on the sex hormones but also the psyche. If a woman has experienced good sexual pleasure prior to menopause she will continue to be interested in sex after the initial phase of menopause. Though she may have other difficulties like vaginal dryness and shrinkage due to menopause. Consult your doctor in person.
