Abhishek Bachchan will soon be seen on the big screen after a gap of over two years in Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming film Manmarziyaan. And as he promotes the film, the actor can’t stop gushing about his director.

“Anurag is a very easy going, laid back director. It is easy to work with him. This has been one of the happiest films of my career, and I’m keen on doing more work with him,” Abhishek says.

The actor who’s grown up the industry thinks of it as a world of unpredictability. “We put our heart and soul into making a film. We work so hard, but ultimately it’s the audience that decides a film’s fate.”

“If you expect your audience to buy a ticket and watch your film then it should be worth the money. I am okay with it and I enjoy the unpredictability of cinema,” he added.

As he prepares for what’s being called the second innings of his career,

Abhishek seems invigorated by his break. “No actor is satisfied, everybody wants to do better, and even I have that drive. If I look back on my 18year- long career, I feel I couldn’t have done it any differently. I learnt a lot, and I changed for the better. I am very happy with the way things have gone,” he concludes.

Manmarziyaan starring Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal will hit silver screens on September 14.
