Has Kangana ousted Krish?

THE ACTRESS HAS ALLEGEDLY KICKED THE DIRECTOR OUT OF MANIKARNIKA TO TAKE OVER THE PROJECT HERSELF

- SUBHASH K JHA

Looks like the historical biopic Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi could be in serious trouble. Apparently, Kangana Ranaut hasn’t just temporarily taken over the project from Krish, she’s kicked him out for good.

“Krish was expelled. She ( Kangana Ranaut) gradually took over the project and the producers meekly complied. First, she muscled her way into the writing, and then the direction. It came to a point where Kangana was telling the other actors what to do,” says a source close to the film, adding, “Krish has directed many Telugu blockbusters and historical epics like Ga uta mi put ra Satakarni and Kanche. He was chosen to direct

Manikarnika for his vast experience. How was he to know that he would be humiliated and pushed out of the project?”

It seems the wannabe- director is now undoing all of Krish’s hard work. “The irony is that Krish has shot an amazing film. Kangana has no business stepping in to add her two- bits. It’s like putting an extra coat of paint on the Taj Mahal,” our source adds.

We recently reported that actor Sonu Sood had walked out of the film because of Ranaut’s alleged high- handedness on set. The actress has since responded by saying that the reason Sonu walked out of the project was that he didn’t want to be directed by a woman. Hearing her statement, the actor can’t stop laughing. “Every time there is a problem that involves her, she plays the gender card. May I remind her that I’ve never had a problem with any of my costars in my career of 19 years? May I also remind her that the biggest hit of my career was

Happy New Year, and who directed that? Farah Khan!” Sonu says.

We’re guessing this isn’t the last you’re going to hear of this. Watch this space for more.
