JBL Endurance Jump: A perfect workout pal

- AARON ALMEIDA

JBL yesterday launched its newest line- up of Endurance series of earphones that cater to different activities. If you are a gym rat that is into various activities such as callisthenics, crossfit or any other workout, JBL has a product for you in the form of the JBL Endurance Jump.

Available in a variety of colours, the earphones are large with a unique design and screams for attention. The earphones are constructed entirely using rubber and plastic and even though these materials are used, they don’t look or feel cheap or tacky.

With the Jump, JBL has added a thicker cable that has a snug fit around the neck.

Being in- canal earphones, the Jump is designed in a way to ensure ambient noises do not seep in and the earbuds do a brilliant job of blocking ambient noise. The Jump comes with PowerHook design and is a great addition as it automatically turns the power on or off while wearing or removing the earphones. The earphones also come with an IPX7 certification and can be dipped into water up to 1m for 30 minutes without being destroyed. The right earpiece has all the controls and features touch controls for AVRCP controls — no in- line remote module here. The lightweight construction makes them comfortable enough to use for long periods of time without experiencing any fatigue.

The Jump is an absolute pleasure to use. They offer a neutral balance with the bass offering the ideal amount of impact and extension without being overbearing or enhanced. The mids are great as well and don’t feel overwhelmed by the bass or the highs. Battery life is rated at 8hrs and it supports fast charging as well.

The JBL Endurance Jump is priced at ` 4,799 and they are a perfect pair of earphones for any workout as they provide great noise isolation that helps in concentration along with a tonal balance that betrays its cheap price tag.
