One shouldn’t rely only on medicines
Q
I am a 36- year- old man I have fluctuations in my blood pressure, but all my other reports are normal. Would you recommend dietary changes or medication for the control of BP?
— Rehan
My advice to you would be not to rely on medicines alone. You should also maintain a proper diet, follow an exercise plan, and make modifications if your lifestyle based on your history and your smoking and drinking habits. Consult a doctor if you want to start medication. You may need to be examined by your local physician.

Q
I am a 58- year- old man suffering from frequent urination in the night. Every time I go to the washroom, only a little urine is passed and I do not feel the bladder has been emptied.
— Anuj
It seems you are suffering from lower urinary tract symptoms ( LUTS) in the form of nocturia and a sense of incomplete voiding.
Your problem may be caused due to a primary bladder neck obstruction or other obstruction in the lower urinary tract.
You need to consult a urologist, who will perform urinalysis, a PSA test, uroflowmetry and residual urine measurement before arriving at a diagnosis.
