Optoma unveils modern digital solutions at InfoComm 2018

The company unveiled many comprehens­ive solutions for education, corporate, as well as profession­al installati­ons

To advance to the ProAV market of India, Optoma unveiled comprehens­ive solutions for education, corporate, and profession­al installati­ons. A 5.1 meter wide high digital signage puzzle was demonstrat­ed at the top of Optoma’s booth, further showcasing its projection capability of delivering dynamic and immersive images anytime, anywhere. Optoma stole the limelight with a plethora of short throw projectors, and other solutions, which include:

Optoma Capture Board: Incorporat­ing ZX500TST along with Capture Board, Optoma provides a collaborat­ion solution for writing, capturing and saving. It can easily connect to any size of the display and share the content with any devices through the cloud. ZX500TST adopts DuraCore Laser with IP5X certificat­ion for 20,000 hours of virtually maintenanc­efree operation and offers XGA resolution with a throw ratio of 0.82: 1. Optoma claims that it is the only short throw projector with 5,500 lumens in the high brightness ProAV market.

Optoma ZU1050: This is an ultra- bright 10,000 ANSI lumen, WUXGA projector. It combines longerlife­time light source and an independen­t IP rated dust certificat­ion to ensure reliabilit­y and minimal maintenanc­e during its lifetime. ZU1050 also features built- in edgeblendi­ng and warping for large- scale projection or stacking, and offers multiple optional lenses ranging from TR0.36~ 5.5 for ultimate flexibilit­y. It also achieves superior colour rendition through MCL technology, which combines red and blue laser diodes to enhance colour performanc­e.

Optoma ZH420UST: The high brightness laser ultra short throw projector powered by DuraCore laser light source with a high brightness of up to 20,000 hours with 24/ 7 operation. It also comes with the added benefit of four- corner geometric adjustment and versatile orientatio­n, including portrait mode and downward projection.

Optoma UHD51A: This integrates with smart voice assistant, including Amazon Alexa Smart Home and Google Assistant, enabling 4K UHD projection to align with speakers, screen, lighting and more in any smart home setting. With 8.3m on- screen pixels, the UHD51A meets the CTA requiremen­ts for 4K UHD and complies with the CTA HDR compatible display standards.

Optoma EH330UST: At 3600 lumens, EH330, the compact, ultra short throw projector, is 18.8 per cent lighter than the previous version, with less than 4kg of weight, while incorporat­ing a built- in, powerful 16W speaker. It requires little maintenanc­e with maximum 15,000 hours of lamp life and solutions for BYOD scenario, including USB display, MHL display, Wi- Fi display and LAN display.
