Spouse mastermind plot to kill wife as he did not want her to work

The sensationa­l double murder case in the national capital was solved with the arrest of three accused that included the husband of the deceased who was involved in the murder, because he didn’t want his wife to go to work.

With the arrest Gulshan ( 35), Prem ( 31), and Shivam ( 21), the northeast district cracked the double murder of two sisters that were missing from Seelampur. One car used in commission of crime, has been recovered from the possession of the accused persons.

“On September 19, two sisters namely Salma ( name changed) and Noori ( name changed) residents of Chauhan Bangar, Delhi, left home for ISBT Kashmiri Gate, but both did not return and even their mobile numbers were also found not reachable,” said DCP ( northeast) Atul Kumar Thakur.

Consequent­ly, a missing report was lodged at Seelampur police station, and a statement of the fa- mily members was made. After that, police started the search for the both the girls. Meanwhile on Sunday, two female dead bodies were found in the area of Alipur.

It was revealed that one of the accused Gulshan, who was the husband of Salma was not happy as she was working, and had asked her many times to leave the profession which resulted in scuffles between the couple. He also used to beat and harass her, due to which, she had left him and was living with her parents in Seelampur since March 2018. Gulshan conspired with his associates Prem and Shivam, to eliminate her wife.
