McGregor works up a sweat in the gym
Conor McGregor is putting the finishing touches to his preparation for what is expected to be the biggest fight in UFC history against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.
The ‘ Notorious’ was pictured drenched in sweat with boxing gloves on and also shared a snap on his profile of him wearing a vest and flatcap, reported Daily Mail.
He has been ‘ preparing for war’ in this Saturday’s Las Vegas lightweight title fight and is clearly still working hard into the final few days.
The image of a steelyeyed McGregor was shared by his personal photographer, Dave Fogarty.
The caption read: ‘ You’re getting way too big for your boots. You’re never too big for the boot.’
Another image showed the 30- year- old walking back, seemingly from a workout, past an orange supercar parked outside.
With the weigh- ins, open workouts and media obligations to come, the hard training will largely have been completed and customary trash talk growing ever louder.
Nurmagomedov, the fearsome undefeated wrestler from Dagestan, comes in as favourite to defeat the former twoweight champion, who finds himself in the unfamiliar position of challenger.
Not that walking out first on fight night will inspire nerves of any kind in McGregor, who has pledged to: ‘ Put a beating on Khabib and his glass jaw’.
