Kids trafficked from Bihar, Jharkhand and Bangladesh
Delhi police, in a joint operation with National Commission For Protection of Child Rights, rescued 27 children, including 17 girls, from northwest Delhi, who were illegally trafficked from Bihar, Jharkhand and Bangladesh.
Four people have been arrested in connection with running the alleged trafficking ring. The rescue operation took place at Shakur Basti area on Tuesday night, said an official at the National Commission For Protection of Child Rights.

rescued victims 11 were found adult, including five women.
There statement have been recorded, said a police official adding that a case has been registered. The arrested accused were identified as, Murari, Sarfaran of Bihar and Qutbuddin and Ibrahim of Jharkhand. The accused used to traffic the victms on the pretext of providing jobs in cities.
The arrested accused were sent for police custody. Medical examination of the victims was conducted, police added.
The victims were mostly from Bihar and Jharkhand, with some of them even from Bangladesh were rescued, the official said. The mental evaluation of the children will be done, following which they will be presented in front of the child welfare committee and then would be sent to shelter homes, he added.
