Causes of reduced drive
QI am a married woman. For the last six years I have been using contraception pills as my husband does not like wearing condoms during sexual intercourse. Nowadays, I feel that I am losing my sex drive. Is it due to the continuous use of contraception pill?
Yes. The possibility of the oral contraceptive pill being responsible for your reduced drive has to be thought of. However, we must find out whether other operative causes also co- exist. Factors like sexual boredom, monotony, poor inter- personal relationship, general ill health and family situations, are some of the other contributory factors.
QIs sexual impotency curable? I am a 24- year- old man and I think I am sexually impotent as I do not get an erection. What do you suggest I should do?
Sexual dysfunctions are disorders and not diseases. Hence the word “manageable” is more appropriate than “cure”. The word cure should be used with reference to diseases like typhoid, tuberculosis, etc. Rest assured that practically all sexual dysfunctions can be managed one way or the other. If you think you have an erection problem, I suggest that you consult a sexologist in person.
