Priyanka gets down to business in UP
AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday held marathon political strategy sessions in Lucknow in an effort to improve her party’s position in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the coming Lok Sabha polls.
Returning to the UP capital after a short visit to Jaipur, where her husband Robert Vadra and his mother Maureen appeared before the Enforcement Directorate over a probe into an alleged land scam in Bikaner, Ms Vadra got cracking at the Uttar Pradesh Congress headquarters.
Tuesday’s meetings came a day after Ms Vadra and AICC general secretary Jyotiraditya Scindia, along with Congress president Rahul Gandhi, held a grand roadshow in Lucknow.

Today’s meeting came a day after Priyanka and Scindia, along with Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, had held a grand roadshow, raising hopes of a turnaround in the party’s fortunes.
