Genelia wants ‘something special’

-

Genelia D’Souza has been missing from the movies while her husband Riteish Deshmukh is enjoying his stint in Hindi and Marathi films. When asked about her return, she says that she is looking for something special.

“Whenever I feel it is the right time, and whenever I feel I get the right kind of work. I stepped into a different phase so I am looking to get roles that complement me. I am happy to do that, but I am not in a hurry. I will never be in a hurry. I know that there is something special there out for me and when it is the right time, I will do it,” says Genelia, who just returned to Mumbai from Latur. The actress adds that her family has been busy lately. “Both my brothers-inlaw are standing for election, and Riteish will also be campaigning for them,” says the mother of five-year-old Riaan and three-year-old Rahyl, who finds her kids eating habits to be trying at times.

“People make it more difficult than it really is. I tried a zillion things and I failed a zillion times, but then no mother never does anything wrong for their kids. I listen to everyone, but I am their mum and I have to take the decision. Thankfully my kids eat pretty well. They do have their days of cribbing but it is perfectly fine, we are all allowed to do that. The trick is to teach the children the right way. For instance, I never had aerated drinks in my life so I don’t feel that I missed out. So, I have it once a year or once in two years,” she says.
