THE AAM AADMI MATTERS MOST

-

I didn’t understand anything, and all went above my head. Everything was at the macro level. I felt that there was nothing for the middle class

Whereas experts were giving thumbs up for the Budget 2020, on the other hand, aam janta was struggling to comprehend what the budget was trying to convey.

Delhi based, Vandana Sharma, a homemaker, fails to understand the budget, she feels, “I didn’t understand anything, and all went above my head. Everything was at the macro level. I felt that there was nothing for the middle class.”

Vishal Kaushik, a college student, feels that the budget didn’t have anything for the middle class. “Whatever she (Nirmala Sitharaman) was saying, it was way too long and I was unable to comprehend what was being said during the budget announcement,” he shares.

But on the other hand, there were some who understood and appreciated the budget. Sanjay Arya, a Delhi based publisher shares, “It’s a tremendous budget. The government has really worked hard to full fill their promises. They reduced the import duty on newsprint and other papers to 5%, I am very happy with the budget, it’s a way forward budget which will help in eradicating the poverty from the Nation.”

Munjaal echoes the same sentiment adding that this budget is the people’s budget as it keeps in mind an ordinary man and woman. She concludes, “The provisions and exemptions which are provided are very friendly.”
