Woman and spirituality

-

SEvery woman is a spiritual leader, she leads the whole family into spirituality. — Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

pirituality has always been about self-realisation. As per Sadhguru, “a woman is as capable as a man when it comes to inner nature. It is only the peel, the body, which you call as a man or a woman. What is within is the same. The peel is not going to decide what one’s spiritual capabilities are.” In fact, if we look at the spiritual scenario in India we observe that there are a number of spiritual women dedicated to awakening the hidden spiritual essence within oneself. Names such as Nirmaladevi, Amritanandamayi Ma, Anandamayi Ma, Brahmakumaris, and numerous others have carved a nice for themselves as spiritual leaders.

The beauty of being a woman is that we have the capacity to multitask, to have our hands in many pots. As per

Rumi, “Woman is the radiance of God, She is not a creature, She is the

Creator.” Women can carry a baby, manage a house, address a gathering, update an excel sheet, as well as complete up a myriad of projects. The art of being a woman is to understand oneself through the continual unfolding and development of our persona. Our whole life, our body is based on moving in tandem with ever-changing natural cycles. This means that women can easily flow between their desire to follow the spiritual path and their desire to prove their worth in the modern world. This capacity has an innate possibility of living a deeply committed spiritual path while being visionaries, creators of living beings, and beholders of magic.

My dear readers, I wish that on this Woman’s Day, every woman is able to draw on her spiritual experiences. I sincerely hope that in the current times, the tribe of spiritual women increases as the thirst for inner peace and tranquillity is a constant spiritual need.

T his week you may be feeling like you have too many responsibilities or too much in life that you are having to juggle and that you see no end to it. You may be feeling overwhelmed at your commitments and crave for more time to be able to focus on just one thing at a time. Some of you might be faced with conflict in the family or at the workplace. Some of you might feel that your relationship is a constant challenge, where your opinion does not matter. So my dear, pick your battles. Not everything is worth fighting for. Consider your priorities and the things that matter most to you.

T his week, health is good! You are also likely to be keeping a positive attitude which is very important and supportive of good health. If you are facing particular health problems, this can indicate a need for you to find a partnership with a healer that you trust and that you can “work well” together with. On the romantic front, the cards emphasise the beauty and power that is created when two become one! In other words, the cards reflect harmony, partnership and balance on your relationship.
