Kriti wraps Mimi

-

Kriti Sanon has wrapped the shooting of her most precious film Mimi. The actress who has been on an upsurge for a while ever since she made her debut opposite Tiger Shroff in Heropanti, felt that the story of Mimi is one of the most beautiful scripts she ever read and it was far better when it was translated on to celluloid. “The shooting of the film is complete. I really had a lot of fun. One of the most beautiful scripts that I have read. There are a lot of times that you like a scene when it is narrated to you but then you do not have a great time when you are shooting for it. It is too early for me to say it, but I felt that it was far better when it was brought out on the big screen,” says Kriti.

The Bareilly Ki Barfi actress says that Laxman Utekar who directed the film, her second after Luka Chhupi brought out the desired result. “The credit should go to Laxman sir. Not many have shown the topic of surrogacy in films and he has an ability to show a serious topic like that in an entertaining manner. It is very important when you are making this kind of a film because it is not a documentary,” she says.

The final schedule of the film at Mandawa was what was the most gratifying for Kriti. “The last schedule was so satisfying as an actor — it was almost like self-discovering — there were a lot of things that I never knew about myself — and there were a lot of emotional scenes also which are almost an experience when you are doing them. I cannot wait for audiences to actually see this film. It is very close to my heart. No matter what the result is .... ,” she trails off. — Sanskriti Media
