‘Spend time with family’

-

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has resulted in the film industry not feeling very safe, resulting in several shootings being cancelled and film releases being postponed. Actress Diana Penty feels that it is very important to ensure safety for everyone.

“At the moment, the loss is secondary. What the government is doing is a partial lockdown where people need to distance themselves. It is important that we contain the situation before it gets out of hand. There is a loss, markets are down, and everyone is suffering. But then, that is still secondary to what the need for the hour is, which is safety and health. We all need to protect ourselves,” the Cocktail actress asserts.

Diana cautious that we should be when travelling. “Travelling for leisure is completely out of question now. Even otherwise, people are not travelling as shoots have been suspended. But if you have to travel in an emergency, which even I had to, I wore a mask, I carried a sanitiser, and I washed my hands like 500 times. You should also not touch your face which is important to stop the progression of this virus,” she elucidates.

Furthermore, Diana advises people against going to gyms, and thanks the government for shutting down gyms as well as it could cause a lot of infection.

“Do yoga, pilates and spend time with your families. The good thing is that you take a break from this fast-paced life and spend quality time with your loved ones,” she adds.
