Rahul: Does govt have a ‘Plan B’ to tackle Covid?

Claiming the the lockdown to contain Covid19 had “failed”, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi asked the government Tuesday if it had a “Plan B” to tackle the pandemic.

He also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was “quick” to take centrestag­e at the start, had now gone “low key”.

“It is now over 60 days since the country was put under lockdown on March 24. At that time the PM said the war against the coronaviru­s would be won in 21 days. Sixty days later, it is now clear the lockdown has not been able to defeat the virus,” he told the media.
