TELUGU ‘SON’

-

HAD HE BEEN alive today, ex-PM P.V. Narasimha Rao would have entered his 100th year. His Party, the Congress, does not seem to be aware of the occasion. Rao, like Lal Bahadur Shastri, does not belong to the Nehru-Gandhi family, so deserve no more than a passing mention. But the TRS is celebrating the centenary of the great son of the soil, the Telugu bidda.
