Dhoni saves a bird
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is known to be a dog lover. But looks like his love extends to other creatures too. His daughter, 5-year-old Ziva took to Instagram to describe how her Papa saved the life of a tiny bird! The little girl said she found the bird lying unconscious on their lawn, and Dhoni, reacting quickly, force-fed it some water. “After some time it opened its eyes. All of us were very happy,” reports Ziva. The colourful bird, which Ziva’s mother Sakshi identified as a Crimson-breasted Barbet, also called Coppersmith, flew away later.
The former Indian skipper will be turning 39 on July 7. With cricket being uncertain this season, Captain Cool is said to be spending time farming in his 7-acre farm in Ranchi. He’s seen driving a tractor, the new addition to his collection of fancy bikes and SUVs.
