Jyotiraditya warns Cong: ‘Tiger abhi zinda hai’
Senior BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, who staged a “coup” to bring down the 15-month-old Kamal Nath government by getting 22 Congress MLAs, his diehard supporters, to resign from the Assembly three months ago, on Thursday threw down the gauntlet at state Congress leaders, saying: “Tiger abhi zinda hai (Tiger is still alive)”.
Mr Scindia, here to attend the oath-taking of 28 new ministers in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government on Thursday, said “they” (Congress leaders) had launched a vilification campaign against him for two months.
Saying the Kamal Nath government was a “corrupt” one, he dared the Congress to face the BJP in the byelections in 24 Assembly seats and promised that the BJP would win all of them.

Senior BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, who had staged a coup of sorts to bring down the 15month-old Kamal Nath government three months ago, on Thursday threw a gauntlet at state Congress leadership, saying “Tiger abhi zinda hai (Tiger is still alive)”.
Mr Scindia, who was here to participate in the oath-taking ceremony of 28 new ministers in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan ministry on Thursday, said “they (Congress leaders) have launched vilification campaign against him for the last two months”.
Mr Scindia said he was aghast at the attempt by them (Congress leaders) to taint his image in public. But, they (Congress leaders) should not be oblivious of the fact that “Tiger abhi zinda hai,” he
said and dared Congress to face BJP in the upcoming by-elections in 24 Assembly constituencies in the state.
Mr Scindia said “my people” would give befitting reply to the Congress in the ensuing byelections in 24 Assembly constituencies in the state, for not delivering on the promises made to them by the party in the run up to 2018 Assembly elections in MP.
“The BJP will win all the 24 Assembly seats in the bypolls in the coming months”, he said.
“The 15-month-old Nath government was a corrupt government”, he said. Mr Scindia was apparently peeved at being “marginalised” in the Congress provoking him to exit the party and join BJP.
